Ecological natural fibres

BDF Douineau offers a range of fibers completely natural that you can easily incorporate into your ecologically habitat. All these products are from materials that are not endangered species. These fibers, used for some thousands of years guarantee high reliability and resistance to a natural look suited to our inner or gardens.

Environmental respect when collecting natural fibers

Preserving the environment and nature to a more environmentally responsible world. Our natural materials are not from deforestation because they belong to the grass family such as bamboo.

The source of our plant material

All of our bamboo come from China, We work exclusively with the NFB - national Forestry - local. The Chinese authorities are particularly attentive to the proper management of their farms by setting up the regulated cuts to quality production and steady. All plantations are subject to a bioethical approach favoring the strictest respect for the environment.

The rattan material is collected in the Indonesian jungle respecting a natural cycle of growth that do not affect the middle. The Raffia comes to us from Madagascar, it is extracted in collaboration with local populations.
